Black Friday

Thank you for making BF a success. Revenue for November is a new record for PB and more than double what we did in June 2023. We are still way off the goal of $30k for Margelo to redo the foundation (check out the previous newsletter if you need more context). Still, I’m very thankful for the growth we achieved. 🙏

Small issue: Users who were on monthly subscriptions could not update to the lifetime special, unfortunately. We will fix that for the Christmas specials we are planning to launch. My deepest apologies for this.

Christmas Special

On to Christmas. 🎄🎄🎄

We will be launching specials on all the products including the Lifetime sub. Probably around the middle of the month until the end of the month of December.

We are planning to do a discount on everything. 🎁

New App Store Images

We needed some fresh App Store images so I asked Pepperplane Design to make some new images. This is the same company that designed PB. 💖

Their initial idea wasn’t what I wanted so they put in some extra hours and worked hard making a mood board and some great examples for us. ✍🏻

After some back and forth — they came up with these concepts:

My favourite is Option 4 with the third image from Option 1. You will see them on the App Store from today. 🥇👇🏻

New Logo!

I admit — that I have a slight logo obsession. 🤭

I have been itching to replace the cycling shorts/pants logo (as some people have complained to me about) for a while now. I finally sent out a commission to 99designs last week to design a new logo. I made a very thorough brief on Powerpoint of all things. 👇🏻

Over 40 designers made 500+ examples from which I had to choose. I narrowed it down to something like these:

2024

I have a feeling 2024 is going to be a massive year for PB. My hope or wish list:

• Margelo will update the foundation. This will make room for all the extra features people have been requesting.
• More translations. I hope we will have all the main translations in 2024.
• Android!
• A better iPhone experience
• How cool would it be if we could appoint a full-time developer that functions as an employee of PB!? This would speed up things. A lot.
• PB 3.0 — the big re-design 🤞🏻
